I am in NC right outside of Raleigh;; Wake Forest, and I spent the last 3 years at Myrtle Beach. My daughter and son in-law are here, Jessica and Wes.
I am so happy your are taking the time to read my first blog. It has been a bumpy road since starting this e commerce store. I moved her in June, and put on the back burner while settling in my new place. There have also been some medical issues that caused a delay. My goal is to have real success by Feb. 1.
Yes I am still a nurse but chose to retire after about 45 years, 12/21/21 and during that time I had the opportunity to create my own decor store. I have loved decorating since I can remember, even in high school I did not have the usual teenager room.
I was raised by a single mom so there was not a lot of extra money. As soon as I started nursing and I was able to really get some decor I was a happy nurse.
There have been so many homes that I have lived in- the joke is that I move once I get the place all decorated. I have lived in Atlanta 10 years, then close to Charlotte, NC for 10 years and was living in Asheboro NC when I lost my husband of almost 15 years to a very rare cancer.
There have been many compliments from guests in my home; they tell me I should have been decorator. I can’t imagine my life without nursing.
Since I am a widow this is a great chance to do something else I love that helps fill the day and makes me happy and hopefully makes others happy too.
I hope you enjoy the decor you will find in my store; and appreciate the care that is taken to have unique and useful items. There are great pieces of furniture, linens , lamps, mirrors and more that can help with your needs.
